External Trade - How to Edit or Cancel an External Trade?

Overview

If you have subscribed to our REMIT Report Service, you can also create trades concluded outside of the PRISMA platform (External trades). If you have created an external trade and wish now to edit or cancel it, this article will explain how to do so on the platform.


Instructions


To edit or discard trades concluded outside of the platform, do as follows:


1. Log into your account;


2. Click on Reporting;


3. Select Secondary Trading;


4. Select External Trades;



5. You will find an overview of your company's external trades and the possibility to use several filters:



In order to access the Edit or Cancel options, you can follow either of the next steps:


Path A


1. Click on the Details button of the corresponding external trade;



2. You will see the external trade details, the REMIT Reporting section (with access to download the report), and the options to Discard and Edit the trade.



Path B:


1. Click on the arrow on the left of the Details button of the corresponding trade;



2. Select the option Edit or Discard:




Edit Option


1. After clicking on Edit, you will see the following screen, which contains a piece of important PRISMA information. Please, read carefully.



2. Then, you will be prompted to select if the modification is a Change (intended change) or a Correction (unintended change).



3. Next, you can edit the following sections:

  • Contractual Parties
  • Master Data
  • Capacity Information
  • Price Information



Note: the Trade Label cannot be modified



4. Finally, click on Update to finish the edition process.




Discard Option


1. After clicking on Discard, you will see the following message, wait for 5 seconds and then click on Discard External Trade to confirm the process.


Once the process is completed, you will see the status Discarded in the External Trades overview:



And in the External Trade Details, you will find the option to Download the Cancelled REMIT report:
