Overview

The LNG Admin Shipper Permission Group provides shippers with greater control over their bids and allocations, reducing dependency on operator assignments.

Users without this permission rely entirely on assignments managed by the Operator. If an Operator cancels the assignment during a live auction, shippers lose the ability to edit or delete bids. Additionally, after allocations are finalized, shippers without an active assignment cannot view or manage their bids or allocation details.

By assigning the LNG Admin Shipper Permission Group:

  • Users can continue to see and delete bids even if the Operator cancels the assignment.
  • Shippers gain full access to their bids and allocations, both during and after the auction.
  • Assignments will only control bidding eligibility, while other functionalities are managed by this permission group.
